We’ve been waiting to share the news: Regen Network has been selected to participate in the Techstars Sustainability Accelerator in Denver, Colorado, and start our journey today, July 29, 2019.

Techstars, the worldwide network that helps entrepreneurs succeed, has partnered with The Nature Conservancy, a leading environmental nonprofit that protects millions of natural acres worldwide, to bring this globally-recognized mentorship-driven accelerator program to Denver. With less than 1% of company applicants accepted into the Sustainability Accelerator, Techstars chooses leaders they trust can tackle the biggest challenges facing humanity today. We are beyond honored and humbled to have been selected for this accelerator. The Sustainability Accelerator in particular seeks for-profit entrepreneurs with commercially viable technologies to rapidly solve food, water, and climate challenges globally. Last year’s program included 10 early-stage tech companies including This Fish, Aqulytics, and Lotic Labs.

2019 has been quite a year of traction for our team, with the token sale nearing completion, a handful of pilot projects with notable regenerative partners officiated, and a mainnet launch anticipated next quarter (just to name a few developments!). This opportunity could not have come at a more opportune time for our company, and we cannot wait to accelerate the development of our technology under the helpful guidance of both Techstars and The Nature Conservancy.

For the next 3 months, our global team will be uniting in Colorado alongside a diverse worldwide network of participants including our partners Nori and Propagate Ventures. The Sustainability Accelerator will provide rigorous guidance and mentorship with over 150 experts, including Annette Quintana of Istonish, Bryan Birsic of Wunder, and Elaine Feeney of PointOne Development.

“I get excited when I see companies that have the ability and vision to change the world, which is why I’m thrilled to welcome Regen Network to the Techstars family,” Zach Nies, Managing Director of the Techstars Sustainability Accelerator “They’re building a platform for ecological agreements between farmers, brands, and institutions utilizing blockchain technology that could disrupt a 36 billion dollar natural capital market and, more importantly, have a significant positive impact on climate change. The Techstars Sustainability Accelerator, in partnership with The Nature Conservancy, is excited to work with the talented and driven team at Regen Network.”
